VMT Madeira Catamaran tours are the most popular on the island, enjoyed by tourists during both the summer and winter months. There are three VMT catamarans that we use, called “Sea the Best”, “Sea Nature” and “Sea Pleasure”. Specializing in searching for dolphins and whales, we will give you a free ride if you do not get to see anything when you go on your trip. The chances of you being able to see dolphins or whales however are over 90%. This boat tour takes about 3 hours and goes out twice a day, every day.
It anchors in front of the highest sea cliff in Europe, Cabo Girão, for a swim and a chance to do some snorkeling. The Catamarans are quite big, take up to 98 people, have a covered area, and have refreshments and toilets onboard. There are additional summer trips like the sunset trip to choose from.

The meeting point for the VMT Madeira Catamaran Tours is at the new marina in the center of Funchal. You have to meet there 20 minutes before departure.
